As the temperatures rise, and we start to step outdoors more often, there is one national pastime that gives the perfect opportunity to enjoy the warmth of spring and the heat of summer. That’s right, it’s baseball season! And while Las Vegas isn’t home to an MLB team (for now), the Las Vegas Aviators, a Triple-A Affiliate minor league team of the Oakland A’s, offers a full season of baseball with plenty of opportunities for Auric Symphony Park residents to take themselves out to the ballgame.
From Opening Weekend to Season Closer
While Friday, March 31 marks the season opener for the Aviators in Reno against the Reno Aces, the team’s home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 at the Las Vegas Ballpark. Those who attend the opening game will receive a free t-shirt.
But for those who can’t make it out to see the first pitch of the season, there will be plenty of time to see the Aviators take the field. With more than 70 home games, it will be easy to take a trip or two to the ballpark to watch plenty of homeruns and strike outs. To get tickets, starting at $18 per person, for all games in the 2023 season, and to see the team’s full schedule, visit the Las Vegas Aviators Page here.
As the Las Vegas Ballpark—approximately 25 minutes from Auric Symphony Park—is located next to the Downtown Summerlin mall and the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa, there are plenty of restaurants and bars to visit and enjoy a cold brew and good food before catching the opening pitch.
