With 2023 well under way, it might seem too late to add another resolution to tackle this year. However, it is never too late to find time to give back your community. Anyone looking for apartments in Las Vegas will be interested in Auric Symphony Park’s downtown location, making it an ideal place to discover local volunteer and donation opportunities.
Additionally, as a Southern Land Company (SLC) community, Auric Symphony Park reflects SLC’s commitment to giving back to the greater communities in which we build one of our one-of-a-kind, extraordinary apartment home and single-family communities.
FROM THE AURIC TEAM
Since its opening, Auric has partnered with organizations like the Las Vegas Rescue Mission (LVRM) and Three Square to provide assistance to fellow Las Vegas residents. Each organization provides a variety of services to the community. LVRM offers meals, shelter, daily needs, addiction services, and a thrift store among its services to the local community. It features opportunities to donate, volunteer in one of its many outreach activities, or serve in its mentorship program.
Three Square is southern Nevada’s largest hunger-relief organization. Residents can get involved by donating, where every dollar can provide up to three meals, or volunteering to assemble and/or deliver meals and participate in food drives.
MAKE A LOCAL IMPACT
Across the valley, numerous organizations provide nuanced support of communities in need. Youth-focused outreach programs, like Project 150, provide needed services to Las Vegas children and teens. Project 150 is dedicated to assisting homeless and disadvantaged high school students with needed support to ensure they remain in school, graduate, and build bright futures.
Additionally, Auric Symphony Park residents can volunteer across the park at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Along with its noteworthy shows and concerts, The Smith Center provides a host of educational opportunities and outreach initiatives reliant on volunteers to help spread a love of the arts throughout Las Vegas.
